I'm a Marine Corps veteran and I own a blue American Pit Bull Terrier named Lady. At 9 months old she was a strong, energetic handful who thought rules were optional. I needed her reliable off-leash, period, so I put her in Walt's 6-week Advanced Off-Leash Obedience Boarding and Training Program.

Fast-forward to today, she's 22 months old now and still absolutely dialed in. Her daily “training” is literally the 10 minutes in the morning when she eats and the same 10 minutes at night for dinner. That's it. No extra sessions, no constant drilling. Perfect heel off-leash anywhere, rock-solid obedience with English voice commands and hand signals, and because Walt is next-level and I requested, full German commands too. When I switch to German, Lady knows without a shadow of a doubt it's me giving the order, she moves without hesitation, every single time.

When we dropped off our giant schnauzer , we were overwhelmed. We knew he was an incredibly smart dog, but we also knew we weren't giving him what he needed. While my dog received some training, I was never taught how to properly work with him or maintain that training at home.
